The Challenge:

To create branding and a completely new experience for the launching of a unique, ground-breaking opportunity to enter the gig economy. Our first use case is using crowdsourcing to engage professionals experienced in writing auto estimates.

I needed to:

• Work closely with business
• Pair with product designers
• Iterate quickly
• Create a viable solution
• Keep the user in mind

Approach

From observing adjusters doing similar work, we knew that gig estimators who are used to writing damage reports at the car, can struggle with engagement and lack of social interaction. From this we know that the look and feel should be engaging. We also heard adjusters say that they “felt like they were detectives on a mission” when doing their work. This statement sparked the idea for the design.

I needed to:

• Attend user research sessions
• Create engaging graphics
• Work closely with backend devs and product team
• Iterate as needed, through research and feedback
